Engagement

Stakeholders

Working with communities, industry, and policymakers to co-create solutions for sustainable food systems.

Our Engagement & Impact Strategy has four key priorities:

Building our capacity

  • Building the capacity of our research team to develop mutually beneficial interactions with citizens and stakeholders

Inspiring future food citizens

  • Using our research to inform and inspire young people to make healthy food choices and improve their understanding of the food system.

Involving our communities

  • Involving communities and stakeholders who have the potential to be affected by or to contribute to a more sustainable food system.

Informing societal change

  • Creating opportunities for researchers to interact with policy makers and for research findings to inform public policy around food systems transformation.

Our engagement approach is informed by the needs and interests of those we engage with and shaped by the development of our research. We offer a range of events and programmes for young people, schools, community groups and food system stakeholders.
