Our second Research Spotlight Session, was hosted by Dr. Rachel Brady from Platform 5 at UCD. This was a hybrid event titled “The Future of Sustainable Food Systems: Research Showcase and Workshop”. This session offered a unique opportunity to explore the interdisciplinary work of the Co-Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and engage in discussions on shaping sustainable food policies in Ireland and the UK.

Experts from both natural and social sciences presented research on plant-based and animal-based food systems, followed by interactive plenary sessions where researchers, stakeholders, and policymakers can exchange insights and help shape the Centre’s future direction.
