Chiara Conti is a PhD student on Platform 3, Health and Nutrition, under the supervision of Professor Mairead Kiely and Dr. Alice Lucey at University College Cork. With an MSc in Public Health Nutrition and a BSc in Food Science and Technology, she applies a multidisciplinary perspective to addressing global food and nutrition challenges.
Chiara is a strong advocate for healthy, accessible, and sustainable food. Beyond her academic work, she has organized environmental and climate initiatives and contributed to programs aimed at addressing food insecurity. Her efforts are directed toward fostering stronger, more resilient communities.
