Name

Rukmini Brahmachari

Role

PhD Researcher

Rukmini Brahmachari is a Doctoral Researcher in Sustainable Food Systems at TU Dublin’s Sustainability & Health Research Hub. She uses metabolomics‑driven analysis to explore biostimulant‑based treatments under abiotic stress—aiming to boost horticultural crop resilience, extend freshness, and curb food loss. Before her PhD, she contributed to the SFI‑funded “Leaf No Waste” project in collaboration with Teagasc, investigating the combined impact of biostimulants and compostable packaging on postharvest quality and waste reduction. Supervised by Prof. Jesús María Frías Celayeta, Dr. José Antonio Galán Pérez, and Lorraine Foley, her mission is clear: design resource‑efficient, farm‑to‑fork food systems.
