Sara Perez Vila holds an academic background with a degree in Pharmacy, a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and a PhD in Food Sciences. This multidisciplinary foundation has equipped her with robust technical knowledge and hands-on research experience across the health and food sectors. For the past five years, she has worked as a researcher at Teagasc Food Research Centre, where she has focused on the study of novel plant proteins, their functional characterization, and their application in food formulation. Her work bridges the gap between fundamental science and real-world innovation, with a passion for translating research into the development of sustainable, nutritious, and functional food products.
